Shortly before 1500hrs (3:00 pm) on Wednesday, May 19, 2021, Snyder Firefighters were alerted to a single-vehicle accident with the vehicle in a ditch. Shortly after dispatched, Department Chief Van Horn was on location reporting Extrication would be required.

At approximately 1130 Sunday morning, April 25, 2021, SFD responded to a collision at Harlem and Sheridan under the I-290 bridge. Members assisted in Patient care and scene clean-up, including applying speedy-dry absorbent to the road to absorb oil and fuel.

(Snyder FD) FOXCROFT LA - STRUCTURE FIRE - BASEMENT FIRE 05:22 - Early Saturday morning, June 20, 2020, Snyder Firefighters were alerted for a Basement Fire. Additionally, Williamsville Fire Department and Getzville Fire Company FAST Assisted at the scene.

On Saturday April 4, Snyder crews were called at approx 0845 for a bedroom fire with possible entrapped residents. Chief Van Horn arrived on scene and reported “Smoke Showing from a large 2-1/2 story brick house” and requested a 2nd Alarm.
Saturday, November 9th, 2019
Snyder Firefighters responded to a bedroom fire in a two story house. A quick interior attack along with proper ventilation contained the fire to one bedroom. Chief Mark Van Horn estimated damage at $60,000 to the structure and $100,000 to the contents.

Snyder Fire responded to a fire in a nursing facility on Main Street. Firefighters found a dryer fire that had extended into the parts of the laundry room. Crews were able to keep the fire from spreading, as the sprinkler system held the fire in place.

At 4:08 AM firefighters were dispatched to a report of a bedroom fire in a two story, four unit apartment building. Upon arrival Chief Paul Griebner reported flames showing from a first floor rear window.
Monday, September 28th, 2015
Snyder Firefighters were alerted to a basement fire on Bernhardt Drive. First arriving units reported heavy fire and smoke conditions. Automatic aid brought firefighters from the Williamsville Fire Department and a FAST team from the Eggertsville Hose Company.
Monday, July 27th, 2015
At 2:30 AM firefighters were alerted to a report of a detached garage fire. Upon arrival the 40' x 30' garage was found to be fully engulfed in flames. The garage was a total loss with damage estimated at $80,000 to the structure and $20,000 to the contents.
Sunday, June 7th, 2015
At approximately 4:00 am the homeowner was awakened by a noise to find a wall of flames consuming the rear of the house. Within minutes of dispatch Fire Chief Paul Griebner arrived on location to discover the fire had extended from the rear wooden deck area up the wall and into the attic area.
